ITINERARY EXAMPLES FOR OUR MULTI DAY TOURS

In our private multi-day tours, we stay out in the countryside and have the opportunity to enjoy more beautiful sights because we don't spend time driving to Reykjavik in the evenings. We carefully pick our hotels where there is good food and atmosphere. The accommodation, breakfast, and two-course gourmet dinner are included at the hotels. For Northern Lights hunters in winter staying in the countryside away from the light pollution, we often have a good opportunity to see them. On our tours, you will get to know everything about nature, the locals, their interesting food, and folklore. Here below are some itinerary examples. Before booking, please contact us for special requests at info@seasontours.is

2 Days South coast to Jökulsárlón

The South Coast is the area second most visited by tourists in Iceland, after the Golden Circle. For a good reason! On the tour, you will see glaciers, black sand beaches, gorges, cliffs, and capes. You will hear stories of famous Vikings, folklore, and history. The changing flora and fauna with the blue lupine and wild thyme in summertime, along with the vivid birdlife, including the colorful puffins. Active volcanoes and glaciers are creating the diverse geology. In this itinerary example we stay close to the lagoon with the icebergs, where we often see seals and reindeer. All year long, the moss-covered lava fields are simply stunning. By adding a day to this tour, it is possible to go even further east or more inland.

2 Days Reykjanes & Golden Circle

This tour takes you to the sites of the so-called Golden Circle with its rich history, sagas, folklore, geology, flora, and fauna. The Reykjanes Peninsula is the youngest part of Iceland, only a few hundred thousand years old. Still in the making. Drive through the ghost town of Grindavík, where people had to evacuate a few years back and witness the new lava a few feet from people's homes. Driving from the beach inland to the mountains shows a great deal of diversity in landscape in Iceland.
