The Bridge Walk between America and Evrasia. Day two The Golden Circle is not actually a circle! It is more of a triangle for it is a route between the three most famous places in Iceland. The ancient Viking parliament site Thingvellir, the geyser area and Gullfoss, Iceland's second largest waterfall. We have added many great sights so now it is a polygon and a very large one indeed! In this tour that could actually be called Iceland 101 you will learn about the Sagas, geology, flora and fauna but above all, you will enjoy the beauty of it and have fun! The Viking Parliament, waterfalls, spouting geyser and glaciers is what Iceland is famous for. All this in only three days. Day one: Visiting the typical sights of the Golden Circle which is a must do for first time visitors. You get to know about the tectonic plate boundaries and the formation of Iceland. You get to see the old parliament site at Thingvellir, Gullfoss waterfall, the geysers and some hidden gems like Þórufoss from Game of Thrones, Vígða laug (Holy pool), Haukadalur church burial site of the good troll. Stay in the south for the night. Day two: The South coast with the majestic waterfalls Seljalandsfoss you can walk behind, Skógafoss, Reynisfjara black sand and pebble beach with basalt columns and a few active volcano's (not erupting at the moment). The second night we stay close to Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon. Day three: Vatnajökull national park with Skaftafell, waterfalls, glaciers, glacier rivers, mountain view and the magnificent unforgettable Glacier lagoon Jökulsárlón. When headed back to Reykjavik we visit Fjaðrárgljúfur, Vík black sand beach and cape Dyrhólaey for a spectacular view over the long black beach. Depending on weather and season we may change the order of places visited. The Ice cave in Vatnajokull isn't available from April to October. Availability is limited and is booked separately. The northern part of Iceland is very different from the south. Often warmer in summer and colder in winter. Here we enjoy beautiful lava structures, hike on volcanic craters and and bathe in the Nature baths by Mývatn. The places we stay are perfect for Northern Lights viewing in winter. Day one: Reykjavík to AkureyriDrive on road 1 north to Akureyri where we stay the first night. On the way we visit Borgarnes town, viking grave, Grábrók crater, Kolugljúfur canyon and the unique Cat eye* Day two: The sites of the North We will enjoy the largest waterfall in Iceland Dettifoss*. Goðafoss, the Mývatn area including Námaskarð, Krafla, Leirhnjúkur* and Dimmuborgir. Day three: Akureyri to Skagafjörður Sightseeing in Akureyri and Eyjafjörður scenic drive around the Troll peninsula to Siglufjörður. We stay the third night in Skagafjörður. Day four: Skagafjörður to Reykjavík We drive towards Reykjavik visiting Glaumbær*, Borgarvirki natural fortress, Hvítserkur rock formation where we often see seals and the Glanni waterfall.

Stay again in the South Day Six: Seljalandsfoss waterfall you can walk behind, Urriðafoss and Kerið crater are among the places we visit on our way back to the Capital area. Depending on weather and season we may change the order of places visited. On this tour it is possible to add horseback riding, zodiac tour on the Glacier lagoon, ATV or Snowmobiling.

This tour is the same as the 7 day tour but with one day of hiking or actually doing whatever you like to do spending a day out in the countryside. Day 1. Pick up after breakfast at 8:30 from your accommodation in Reykjavik. We add many hidden gems to this tour before we go to the accommodation at Leirubakki where we also dine. Day 2. Day starts with a drive and a hike in Gljúfrabúi and Seljalandsfoss. After the hike we visit the most popular attractions on the South coast: Skógafoss waterfall where we also have lunch and Reynisfjara black sand beach. The road takes us to Fjaðrárgljúfur and through Skaftafell. We stay and dine at Fosshotel Glacier lagoon. Day 3. Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon and diamond beach, Vestra horn mountain, viking village, Petra's stone collection, hiking in Hallormsstaðarskógur forest, staying in the area of Egilsstaðir. Either at Hótel Hallormsstaður or Icelandair hotel Hérað. Day 4. Ancient Troll wall at Möðrudalsöræfi (in summer), Stuðlagil, Dettifoss Europes biggest waterfall, Hiking in Hljóðaklettar for an hour. Krafla, Námaskarð, Leirhnjúkur. Staying two nights by Mývatn Day 5. Dimmuborgir and Hverfell hike, Skútustaðagígar pseudo craters and the Nature baths. Day 6. Goðafoss, Kaffi Kú, Akureyri town visit, drive around the Troll peninsula, Hofsós swimming pool. Accommodation and dinner at Hofsstaðir two nights. Day 7. Glaumbær turf house. Hike Mt.Mælifell. Option to go on a horse ride tour or river rafting or whatever you like to do spending a day in Iceland. For hiking or riding this day could be any day of the tour. Day 8., Borgarvirki, Hvítserkur, Kolugljúfur, Grábrók crater short hike, Borgarnes and finally we arrive in Reykjavík before dinner time.

In this slow pace tour in the west and south in Iceland you will see, experience and enjoy every sight without having to think that you are missing anything. Staying and dining at Hotel Laki for three nights. Day 7: Day starts at 10:00 Visiting sites in the Lavafield of Laki, depending on road conditions we visit the Laki craters. Day 8: Day starts at 10:00 Visiting the Glacier lagoon, boat trip if you like around the icebergs. 90 minutes hike in Skaftafell to Svartifoss and back, depending on your stamina :-) and the Diamond beach. Day 9: Day starts at 10:00 Driving west visiting the sites of the South coast we skipped on the way east including Seljalandsfoss waterfall, Dverghamrar old basalt columns cliffs, and cape Dyrhólaey with a view over the Black sand beach.
